Fish fry makes an easy and delicious appetizer, and it can also be served as the side to any main dish. Crispy fried fish is everyone’s favorite as it is super easy to prepare, doesn’t take much time to cook and the delectable taste is every taste buds dream.
The recipe that I’m sharing here is simple and easy. Fish fry can be served as an appetizer and also it can be a perfect side to any main dish.

This recipe is really quick and easy to make and it tastes absolutely delicious.

FISH FRY

INGREDIENTS

Fish ( Pink Perch/ Sultan Ibrahim)
Gram Flour
Garlic & Ginger Paste
Chilly powder
Salt
Curry leaves
Oil
Water
500 grams
1/4 cup
1 Tablespoon
1-2 tablespoon
as taste
7-8
 for frying
2-3 Tablespoon

COOKING STEPS

  1. Pre pare all the items, cleaned and deveined fish fillets, Make Ginger and Garlic as paste.

2. In a mixing bowl add the Gram flour, ginger Garlic paste, chili powder, salt ( add Chilly power and salt as your taste. I have added 1 tablespoon chilly powder, If you like more spicy then add 2 tablespoon chilly powder).Now add 2-3 tablespoon water, mix as batter.

3. Now add the cleaned fish fillet, mix well. Set aside for soak 15-20 minutes.  So the spices coat all the fish fillets.

4. Heat oil for deep frying. Take each fish fillets separately and gently drop in the hot oil. Do not overcrowd, leaves some space between each fillets for them to fry uniformly.

5. Fry until they are nice and crispy on one side, turn the other side and fry 5-8 minutes.

6. Once they are nice and crispy on both the sides drain the excess oil and take it off from the oil. Continue with the rest of fillets.

Our crispy Fish fry is ready to be served. You can enjoy this for appetizer or can be enjoyed as a side for rice.
